Students in K-12 are paired with high school students who excel in math and English; they meet on a fixed weekly basis, with students meeting with the same tutor each time, ensuring that the student and tutor are able to build meaningful, high-impact relationships with one another.
A new policy brief examines the research evidence behind tutoring and what design principles for tutoring have shown to be important for boosting student achievement. We believe a student's financial circumstances should play no role in their ability to access college writing support and tell their stories effectively.
