Program Description: Program Description:

Catapult Learning’s High-Dosage Tutoring (HDT) Program is a proven, student-centered intervention designed to accelerate academic growth and close achievement gaps in literacy and math. With nearly 50 years of experience in supplemental education and intervention services, Catapult now serves nearly 100,000 students annually through its HDT and intervention programs nationwide.

Our evidence-based HDT model, aligned with ESSA Tier II standards, delivers intensive, small-group instruction multiple times per week, targeted to students performing below grade level. It’s built to support the learners who need it most—those facing persistent gaps in foundational skills—while also supporting school systems through a full-service, turnkey solution.

What sets Catapult’s HDT apart is our uniquely integrated model—powered by three essential pillars:

Our People: Highly trained, certified educators who deliver personalized, engaging instruction tailored to each student’s needs

Our Data: Actionable, easy-to-understand insights that inform instruction, demonstrate impact, and drive continuous improvement. Our data is collected and shared with parents as well as school and district stakeholders in our robust tutoring management system.

Our Curriculum: Research-based, standards-aligned resources grounded in the Science of Reading and foundational math practices

Tutoring is typically delivered in-person during the school day, with flexibility to adapt to district schedules and priorities. As a full-service provider, Catapult manages the entire implementation process—including staffing, pre-service training, ongoing coaching, scheduling, data collection, and reporting—ensuring a seamless experience for district partners.

And the results speak for themselves:

9 out of 10 students in Catapult HDT programs demonstrate growth in reading

8 out of 10 students show measurable growth in math

With over 27 million tutoring sessions delivered and decades of experience in supporting struggling learners, Catapult’s HDT program is built to drive results—at scale—for every student.
