Program Overview
Help more students build foundational skills and achieve math proficiency by delivering high-impact tutoring at scale.
Math Corps is an evidence-based, high-impact AmeriCorps tutoring program designed to improve students’ foundational numeracy skills. Students in grades K-3 and 4-8 scoring below grade-level targets are eligible for tutoring services. They receive 90 – 100 minutes of in-person tutoring per week in small groups of two or three students during the school day until progress monitoring data indicate they have met grade-level targets and successfully exit the program. Math Corps tutors receive extensive training and coaching to ensure the Math Corps program is implemented as designed and proven to work.
Tutoring program that offers one-on-one and/or small group tutoring directly to students, either in-person, virtually, or through both modes of delivery.
