Words Liive, Inc.

Mission: Mission:

Words Liive is is a futuristic edtech startup dedicated to achieving a ‘Moonshot Goal’ of reversing the reading proficiency crises by getting 2/3rds of the nation’s students to or above their grade-level reading proficiency by the year 2045 via The Opus App. Our five stated goals for schools are to:

▪ Increase student engagement of classroom curricula, (aid in your re-engagement strategy)
▪ Increase student academic performance throughout the literacy domain (ELA, Civics)
▪ Raise awareness of lesson plans and culturally responsive curricula
▪ Integrate state standard question stems into culturally responsive curricula
▪ Provide sustainable curricula for project-based trauma-informed interventions for students

By using Opus App, schools will be able to do at least three things:
▪ Provide a culturally responsive “Real-time and On-demand” platform for the development and delivery of culturally responsive text-based lessons for current reading curricula
▪ Provide students with customized lessons, curated by tutors, based on students’ syllabi, auto-generated presentation slides, auto-generated standards-aligned assessments, auto-generated activities and quizzes, and evaluation feedback on student engagement, satisfaction, and performance
▪ Provide teacher training and development opportunities for departmental staff

Program Description: Program Description:

The Opus App makes it effortless for teachers, tutors, parents, and students to integrate music, a primary cultural article, into the lesson planning and delivery process. We help classrooms to enable students to bring their whole selves into their learning process, firstly via the music they love and select to be included in their lessons, and then with the assistance of our High Impact Tutors!
