Program Overview

Mission

At Your Teacher Tutors (YTT), our mission is to deliver high-impact, individualized tutoring that empowers every learner to succeed. We are committed to closing opportunity gaps by pairing students with certified, compassionate educators who tailor instruction to each student’s academic goals, learning style, and pace.

We believe that effective tutoring starts with strong relationships, rigorous instructional practices, and meaningful data. Through consistent, standards-aligned support, we aim to boost student confidence, accelerate learning, and equip every student with the tools they need to thrive—both inside and outside the classroom.

Program Description

Your Teacher Tutors (YTT) provides high-impact, virtual and in-person tutoring services designed to accelerate student achievement through personalized, standards-aligned instruction. Our program matches students with certified educators who deliver 1:1 and small group tutoring in reading, math, and test preparation.

Each tutoring cycle begins with a diagnostic assessment to identify student strengths and needs. Based on this data, tutors develop individualized learning plans (ILPs) aligned to state standards and district curricula. Instruction is delivered via the Lessonspace platform for virtual sessions or directly within school sites for in-person support, both afterschool and during the school day. Tutors use high-quality curriculum materials, real-time student data, and evidence-based practices to drive learning forward.

Throughout the program, families and educators receive ongoing communication through session notes, progress reports, and goal tracking tools. YTT emphasizes relationship-building, consistency, and measurable growth, ensuring that every student receives the targeted support they need to succeed.
