Tutoring Organization

Huntington Learning Center

For nearly five decades, Huntington Learning Center has worked with schools and organizations to provide publicly funded K-12 tutoring and test prep services. Our goal is to provide the highest quality education to all students, fulfilling Huntington’s mission “to give every student the best education possible”.

We offer:

iRead

iRead uses adaptive technology that adjusts instruction to meet children where they are and provides explicit instruction and guided practice to build mastery.

Jumpstart

As part of Jumpstart’s mission to ensure children enter kindergarten prepared to succeed, college student volunteers work to provide high-quality services to children through Jumpstart classroom service and planning. Jumpstart provides volunteers with the training, coaching, and support to ensure that all of Jumpstart’s activities provide children with high-quality, developmentally appropriate experiences and supportive interactions with well-trained adults.

LEAP

LEAP engages undergraduates in helping kindergarten through fourth grade students develop the language, literacy, math, and social skills necessary to succeed in school.

Lexia Core5

Lexia® Core5® Reading supports educators in providing differentiated literacy instruction for students of all abilities in grades pre-K–5. Lexia’s research-proven program provides explicit, systematic, personalized learning in the six areas of reading instruction, targeting skill gaps as they emerge, and providing teachers with the data and student-specific resources they need for individual or small-group instruction.
