Jacqueline Castillo

Jacqueline Castillo is president of the Niagara Falls Special Education PTA in Niagara Falls, New York, and a mother of two. She advocates for evidence-based high-impact tutoring (HIT) as essential to academic equity—an approach that helped her child with dyslexia. Prioritizing HIT helps close grade-level gaps and advances student success, which transforms families and communities.
Her interests include exploring art with her child and advocating for literacy as a public health priority and for access to augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) for individuals who are nonverbal.
