Marisol Coronado is a stay-at-home mom of a middle-schooler and a community advocate from Huntington Park, California. She appreciates that high-impact tutoring has helped many students who were behind academically to improve their skills, regain confidence, and avoid frustration or a loss of interest in preparing for their futures. She hopes tutoring will continue in every LAUSD school because it helps students reach and maintain grade-level proficiency.
