Performance Measurement Protocol for Goal Setting

Purpose: This document provides a structure for regular check-ins and quarterly reflections focused on analyzing impact data, refining processes, and enhancing communication among all stakeholders to achieve both long-term and short-term goals. Reference this document to guide collaboration between districts and tutoring providers during implementation. 

Impact Data Analysis

What does the data show us about engagement and initial impact?

  • Enrollment/Registration
  • Attendance/participation/engagement rates
  • Formative assessment data (such as exit tickets)
  • Quarterly academic data (assessments, etc.)
  • Coverage data as appropriate (what standards objectives are being addressed in tutoring)
  • Disaggregated data insights 
Process

Are there opportunities to make improvements on processes?

  • Collaboration with school sites
  • Collaboration between the provider and district
  • Collaboration between teachers and tutors
  • Collaboration with families and caregivers
  • Data systems and technology
Communication

Have current communication methods been successful?

  • How have we/will we communicate data on student progress to each stakeholder group?
  • How have/will caregivers and students receive updates on progress, and who will share these updates with them: tutors, teachers, or both?
  • What improvements can we make to the communication processes currently in place?
