Example Performance Measurement Plan

Purpose: The performance management plan below outlines metrics for monitoring student progress, tutor effectiveness, and stakeholder satisfaction throughout the program. Use this example to support the development of a Performance Measurement Plan that is grounded in the objectives of the tutoring. This Performance Measurement Plan is aligned with the logic model example in section 2.1.

Example Performance Measurement Plan: End-of-Program Impact

A Performance Measurement Plan assesses your program’s impact after and throughout the implementation process. If your program occurs throughout the school year, its End-of-Program Impact goal will usually align with your Logic Model’s Short-Term Impact goal. Below is an example portion of a Measurement and Data Collection Plan outlining impact measures for a tutoring program serving 9th-grade students.

Example Performance Measurement Plan: Progress Monitoring

While End-of-Program measures can illustrate effectiveness retroactively, far more important are the monitoring measures that help your program stay on track toward its goals. Below is an example portion of a plan outlining ongoing, more frequent monitoring measures.
