Method Learning

Our tutors meet with students to provide one-on-one tutoring in-person (if students are local to our tutors) or virtually. Our own curriculum platform, Methodize, has full-length courses for SAT and ACT prep, College and Career Advising, Financial Literacy, Academic Success, Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Geometry, and Algebra 2. Students can work through these self-paced courses on their own or in a group, and our tutors can use these curricula or work through a student's own questions during that student's time with a tutor.

TutorSmith

We offer online 1-on-1 and small group sessions in any subject, primarily reading and math. We typically host biweekly 1-hour sessions with a personalized pairing with a tutor. We offer 2 free hour-long trial sessions to any new members. We also offer a scholarship fund that anyone can donate to and helps cover the costs of students in need.

Math Makes Sense provides convenient tutoring services for all ages in elementary math, pre-algebra, algebra, geometry & college algebra.

Sunshine For All Foundation

We aim to bridge the gap in education caused by underlying socioeconomic issues. Our program offers general subject tutoring (English, Maths, Computer Science, History) and SAT/PSAT/ACT enhancement taught by top-scoring students. We offer group sessions and one-to-one classes on a weekly basis and an on-demand Q&A service for all school topics.

EduTutorVA Program Badge

EduTutorVA provides high-impact virtual reading and math tutoring for students in grades 3–8 at high-needs schools. Tutoring takes place during the school day, with students receiving 40–60 hours of instruction each year in groups of two to three with the same tutor. Tutors are college students from Virginia’s colleges and universities who receive a competitive honorarium, curriculum materials, paid professional learning, and ongoing support from a tutor coach.

Cignition Chosen by Ohio Department of Education to Provide K-12 Schools With Access to High-Dosage Tutoring

As the main focus of Future Forward Ohio, high-dosage tutoring, which is characterized by an average of at least 90 minutes of tutoring per week, promises lasting academic improvements. Studies have shown that students consistently benefit from it, as evidenced by Stanford University's National Student Support Accelerator, which underscores its effectiveness, particularly for those lagging academically.
