Scope
The purpose of this Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) is to establish a framework for a mutually beneficial agreement between (Organization 1) and (Organization 2) to support tutors and enhance educational outcomes. This collaboration aims to leverage the strengths and resources of both Parties to provide comprehensive support, professional development, and opportunities for tutors, ultimately benefiting the students they serve. The Parties agree to collaborate on initiatives that may include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Tutor Training and Professional Development: Jointly developing and delivering training programs, workshops, and resources to enhance tutors' skills, knowledge, and pedagogical approaches.
- Resource Sharing: Sharing relevant educational materials, best practices, curricula, and technology to support tutors in their roles.
- Networking and Community Building: Creating platforms and opportunities for tutors to connect, share experiences, and receive peer support.
- Quality Assurance and Evaluation: Collaborating on methods to assess the effectiveness of tutoring services and identify areas for improvement.
- Recruitment and Retention: Exploring strategies to attract and retain high-quality tutors.
- Research and Innovation: Cooperating on research projects related to tutoring methodologies and their impact.
- Financial resources: Identify discounts, prior learning credits, programs or other sources of funding that can help subsidize the cost of any credit bearing coursework.
Roles and Responsibilities
3.1. Organization 1 shall:
